Approached down a short farm track to a peaceful hillside setting, The Little Bothy is cosy, rustic and quirky, with spectacular views across the blue sea to the islands of Rousay, Egilsay, Wyre, Gairsay, Eday and Stronsay.

Located only a short distance from The Broch of Gurness, the beautiful golden sands of Aikerness Bay and the RSPB Birsay Moors Reserve, The Little Bothy is also within easy reach of many of Orkney’s other incredible sites, including the standing stone circle of The Ring of Brodgar, the Maeshowe Chambered Cairn and the world-famous Skara Brae.
